On Call Shopping Tour Guide

We are a startup Fort Lauderdale company, A Day More Tours, providing transportation to and guidance through Sawgrass Mills Mall.

We need a "on call" guides as we grow. Right now, we are still laying the groundwork and booking only a few tour groups.

For the right people, this should become significant part time or even full time work. We are looking for people who will consistently have part time availability -- students, persons with other pt jobs, care takers, etc.

We will provide a cell phone for your use during the tours to help keep in touch with the guests you are guiding.

The guides will meet our buses in the mornings/early afternoon at the entrance to Port Everglades, set up the buses, coordinate with our office and the driver re the guests, ride as the guide to hotel pickup points, ensure everyone is picked up, provide information on Sawgrass Mills Mall, provide Mall strategy and answer questions during the ride and at the Mall for the group, ensure folks get back on the business upon its return to the Mall for pickup.

For this position:

**You must live reasonably close to Port Everglades and have your own car to meet our buses.

**Ideally, you are available, hopefully with scheduling ahead of time but sometimes on as little as a few hours notice, during the day, 7 days a week. That said, the extent you are not available certain days, give us your schedule and will we will work around you and go down the list of available guides.

**You must be professional, well groomed, good with customers of all nationalities and backgrounds, sexual orientations, organized, ON TIME, RESPONSIVE, QUICK THINKING, RESPONSIVE and RELIABLE.

**You must be comfortable speaking in front of groups.

**You must be willing to consent to a background check.

**You must be fluent in English. Other languages BIG PLUS!

**Passionate and knowledgeable about Sawgrass Mills Mall also a plus. If not, you must be able to fake it convincingly!
