Bike/Segway Tour Manager

Bike and Roll Washington DC is part of a nation-wide bike tour and rental organization. We are currently searching for someone to manage our tour operations at our Downtown DC location. The Tour Manager will be responsible for overseeing bicycle or Segway tour operations including:
• Leading tours
• Scheduling guides for public and private tours
• Training staff in proper tour/safety procedures and monitoring performance
• Managing reservations for group tours
• Updating tour materials and helping to create new tour products
• Managing inventory of tour equipment and supplies
• Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues

Position requires 2 years proven ability to lead tours in a similar environment.

Preferred experience includes:
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking
• Proficiency in standard computer software with the ability to use online management tools or scheduling software

Physical requirements for position are:
• Ability to ride a bicycle 10 miles
• Ability to lift a 30 lb bicycle over your head
